TESTIMONIALS

Bicycle injury Portland, Oregon, MVA, drunk driver hit a bicyclistI was riding my bike through the intersection of SE 26th Ave and SE Woodward when I was hit by a drunk driver who ran a stop sign. She t-boned me and my bike, breaking my bike in half sending me flying through the air. I was treated by paramedics and taken to the emergency room. At the time I really didn't feel the need to see a Chiropractor. 6 months later I developed back pain between my shoulders especially on the right. I had gradually lost the ROM of my right shoulder. I couldn't throw a baseball overhand anymore, I had to throw sidearm. I decided that I needed to get adjusted by a Chiropractor. I looked online and found The Bicycle Chiropractor so I gave Dr. Chris a call. I live in SE Portland and I ride my bike to school and work all the time so I thought that I had to give The Bicycle Chiropractor a try. At first, I didn't know if he worked on bikes or people. It turns out Dr. Chris works on both. During my first visit he had me get on my bike and analyzed the way I ride my bike on a trainer. He took pictures from all side for me to see my posture and how I ride. He made some mechanical adjustments to my bike and some adjustments to my riding position which helped improve my energy level and now allows me to ride without pain. Dr. Chris improved my flexibility in my back and hamstrings in 1 minute on a vibration machine. When I first reached for my toes I was over a foot away from reaching them while standing. Within a minute, I was standing with straight legs, touching my toes and even touching the ground beneath my feet, amazing. I can still tough my toes today. Dr. Chris asked me questions about my right shoulder. This was the first Chiropractor that ever addressed anything other than my spine. He examined and then adjusted my shoulder. My shoulder’s flexibility and range of motion improved immediately. I can through overhand now. Overall, I have much more energy, much less pain, greater flexibility and I am sleeping better and feeling more rested after my adjustments. I felt improvements after the very first adjustment. I am very appreciative for all of the time and help that Dr. Chris has spent working with me. Dr. Chris spent a lot of quality time communicating with me about what is really happening with my body and he takes his time with treating me, much more so that other Chiropractors I’ve seen since childhood. The most amazing thing is how quickly and painlessly he was able to improve the flexibility of my back, legs and shoulder and how long the effects of the adjustments last. I would strongly recommend that you try out his unique method of Chiropractic and bike services. Click here to listen to Johnny talk about his bike accident and Chiropractic care on YouTube.

Thank you,

Johnny Randak

Scary story with a good ending Johnny. It is always a pleasure to help out a fellow bicyclist. Good luck in softball this season. Also I have to give Christian Ettinger of HUB (who you worked for at the time) some props for paying for 1/2 of your replacement bike since yours was snapped in half in the accident.

Ride safe,
Christopher Pierce, DC

Thanks Chris (both of you). You saved my vacation. While staying at the Jupiter Hotel I got a bad back pain. One of the staff at Doug Fir (Chris) recommended The Bicycle Chiropractor (Dr. Christopher Pierce). Dr. Pierce you saved my staying in Portland and the long trip back to Sweden. I haven't felt this good for many years.

Many thanks,

Bert & Emelie M.

Thank you Bert and Emelie for visiting Portland in the midst of our rainy season for your vacation. It was a pleasure to meet and treat you both. I'm glad we could help. - Christopher Pierce, DC
